Going into the third period, the Freeze was up 2-1. The Freeze ended up with another tally and then the Raiders pulled their goalie. After two failed attempts at the empty net, the Freeze finally got the puck and skated towards the net, when a Raiders player tripped them up, the Freeze was awarded the goal. Final score, 4-1. The Freeze will most likely face the Raiders again in the first round of CBHL playoffs.

On Sunday, the Freeze hit the road to play the Reston Raiders. The Freeze scored first, but Reston was able to tie up the game at 1-1 going into the second period. Reston was then able to score twice in the second period, to take a two goal lead into the final period. In the third period, the Freeze drew a penalty and were able to score on the power play, bringing the game to only a one goal deficit. Unfortunately, the Raiders came back and scored a goal not long after to get the two goal lead. With only a few minutes left, the Freeze pulled their goalie for the extra attacker and generated a few chances, but ultimately Reston was able to get the puck into the empty net and win the game with a final score of 5-2. The Freeze will need to pull it together and finish strong next weekend in their remaining three league games to secure a playoff spot.
