The Freeze Peewee B traveled to Hershey, PA for the Hershey Christmas Holiday Tournament last weekend. They battled through three games, which resulted in two wins and a tie. Their impressive team effort bought them a ticket to the championship game Sunday afternoon against the team they tied. Goalie David Kinnamon kept the Freeze ahead for most of the game, but with 11.5 seconds left and with their goalie pulled, the Delaware Blue Hens scored to tie and send the game to a 4-on-4 OT, which ended without any scoring. The first five skaters were unable to break the tie in the shootout, but in the sudden death shootout, the Freeze prevailed as Jacob Wetrogan found the back of the net to put the finishing touches on the Championship weekend. The Hershey Christmas Holiday Tournament trophy is coming home with the Freeze Pee Wee B team!
