Love For Lochlin

From our Hockey Family to yours, The Frederick Freeze & Skate Frederick, on behalf of the DeSantis Family, invites everyone to attend our Skate for The Love for Lochlin Fundraiser on Saturday, February 8th from 2-5 PM at 1288 Riverbend Way, Frederick, MD.

Help us honor Lochlin and provide the Love for Lochlin Foundation with the opportunity to promote awareness of the dangers of the flu!


On January 20th of 2020, the DeSantis family tragically lost their 5-year-old son, Lochlin DeSantis, from complications of the flu and sepsis. Lochlin was a very happy child that loved to run and play with his brothers and his friends. He always had a smile on his face and had a laugh that was contagious. He was well known for his playful and giving nature. He loved climbing in trees and loved animals. He loved to play Hockey and Football. He also loved the Washington Capitals and wore his Nicholas Backstrom jersey
everywhere!

To participate in our event, please follow the instructions below:

- Please visit the Love for Lochlin ticket sales table. Look for the balloons! Purchase your tickets by bringing $10 cash, per skater. This price includes rentals. The public skate is from 2-5 PM.

- Please be sure to visit our raffle table, located outside of Rink 1, to purchase tickets to win some awesome prizes. Please be sure to bring cash.

- To honor Lochlin’s love for the greatest game on earth, The Frederick Freeze will be skating their hearts out on Rink 2. Games will be taking place from 1 PM thru 7 PM. Be sure to grab some very helpful information on flu prevention.

- After the public skating event has concluded, head on over to Roy Roger’s, located at 1990 Riverbend Way, Frederick, MD from 5-8 PM. Be sure to mention Love for Lochlin & they will generously donate 25% of all proceeds to the foundation.
