The 16U LA team played a tough game against The  St. James AA team on Saturday and a well fought game on Sunday against the Central Penn Panthers UA team. Although both games were a loss, they thought hard and worked well as a team.

14U B

The 14U B team had an amazing weekend of hockey, adding two more W's to their record against the Junior Black Bears and the Blue Devils (Blue). To put icing on the cake, on Sunday our goalie Blake Ambrose had a shutout in our game against the Blue Devils (Blue), and is his second shutout of the season!

The Pee Wee team had their first home game Saturday against The St James. The team came out with a 4-3 lead.

On Sunday, the team traveled to Ion training center for another game. The team came out strong and led 3-0 in the first. The Knights came back and scored 3 goals to tie the game. With 2 minutes 38 seconds remaining, the Freeze came back and scored the game winning goal.

10U AA

This weekend's schedule was a full one for the AA Squirts. Saturday had the team travel to Leesburg, VA to take on the Loudon Knights. The Freeze hung tough, but eventually fell 7-4.

On Sunday, the team hit the road again for a double header against the York Devils AA team. Both games were losses, but hard fought nonetheless.

10U LA

Saturday morning the LA team played an away game against the Piedmont Predators. Maybe it was the 8 AM start, but the team had a difficult time getting started in their first game of the season, and fell behind early to a tough Piedmont Predators team. The Freeze woke up and began to find a rhythm as the game went on and put some pressure on in the third period to score a couple of goals, but ultimately came up short in a 5-2 loss.

On Sunday,  the LA team traveled up to Ion to take on the Loudon Knights. The team played an entertaining back-and-forth game against the Knights. The teams traded goals throughout the game, leading to a shootout in which the Freeze came out on top for a 7-6 road victory. Ethan Wiater put up 4 goals in regulation and one in the shootout, earning his first hat trick of the season. Way to go Freeze!
